To meet the unique needs of a hospital pharmacy, skilled engineers at TEMP-AIR customized a THPAC-60 to meet special variable air delivery and filtering requirements. The pharmacy, which is open to the public, required temporary HVAC to maintain a steady 55° F leaving air temperature. A standard THPAC unit was installed with a custom HEPA filter bank, as well as electric heat, variable speed vane axial blower, economizer, and programmable touch screen controls to adjust static pressure.
“Anytime you can take a piece of equipment from our rental fleet and customize it to fit a customer’s specific parameters, it is always exciting,” says Rob Way, senior technical field representative for TEMP-AIR.
